Royals and jewels and thieves, oh my!
It just seemed natural that when you got together a bunch of Russian royals, their multi-million dollar jewelry and a glittering event set in Monaco, there would be bound to be a thief and trouble!
Detective Peter Roman and Princess Tatiana Ivanov know that there is that risk. Peter has uncovered a trial of thefts leading directly to the big charity event being run by Tatiana at the Ivanov casino in Monte Carlo.
Armed with that knowledge, it's only natural that Peter and Tatiana head to the principality where the ultra-rich like to play in order to prevent the theft of the priceless jewels which will be showcased at the event.
There's just one problem: To protect Tatiana and her event, Peter risks revealing painful secrets that he has kept to himself for years, including the fact that he is Grand Prince Pyotr Romanovich and the man that Tatiana is supposed to marry!
Peter has been living incognito for years in Atlantic City having escaped the public spotlight into which he was born and he has no desire to be outed again. It's why he's battled his attraction to the stunning and elegant Princess Tatiana, his best friend's kid sister.
But Peter fears there's more happening than just the possible theft and he isn't about to let something to Tatiana when she heads to Monaco to make sure everything is in order for her big charity event.
His attraction grows ever more impossible to deny as the two spend time together amidst the luxury of the Ivanov casino and Monaco. Peter knows that the honorable thing to do is to tell Tatiana who he is and he understands her anger at the revelation.
The last thing Tatiana wants is to be forced into a marriage with a man she does not love and worse, does not trust. Even though Peter has revealed who he is to Tatiana, she cannot believe that he has kept that from her for all the years they have known each other. Worse, she hates that she can't fight her attraction to him even after the revelation.
Danger and the revelation of his identity and painful past challenge the emotions Peter and Tatiana have for each other. But there is a much more dangerous challenge coming their way as what appears to be a theft turns into a deadly event.
I hope you’ll take a moment to check out TO CATCH A PRINCESS. Thanks so much for coming by to visit with me!

In a fight for their lives, Peter’s secret identity is revealed. With danger and passion increasing to the breaking point, she must decide: catch a thief…or trust the heart of her true love.
EXCERPT ~
Tatiana gave him a puzzled look when he approached and sat beside her.
“Something wrong?” she asked.
“I know about the marriage bargain that your parents made with Grand Duke Roman Alexandrovich,” he began. She dog-eared her page in the novel and closed it, her demeanor deceptively calm, though he could see her eyes had grown turbulent.
“How do you know about that stupid plan?”
“Because I’m Velikiy Knjaz Pyotr Romanovich, the only son of the Grand Duke.”
She waved her hands and shook her head, making a face. “You’re the prince? No way.”
“I never kid about things like this,” he replied, and met her gaze dead-on so she would realize that he wasn’t kidding.
Hot color flooded her face, but she retained control, staring silently at him for a long time.
At length, she leaned toward him, and said in low tones, “All this time we’ve known you, that I’veknown you, and you’ve been lying to me about who you are?”
“It’s a complicated situation, Tatochka.”
“Do not call me that. Only friends or family call me that, and you are neither right now.” She surged from the chair and stalked a few steps away, contained by the size of the plane, just as he had hoped.
She raked her fingers through her ebony hair and held them there for a moment before allowing the thick strands to fall back into place.
She whirled to face him. “Why? And why tell me now?”
He drew in a breath. “The first why is complicated. I hated having my life plastered all over the papers.”
“You mean like when my college roommate and supposed friend stole my diary and sold it off to one of the tabloids?”
He finally remembered the details of the incident and understood now how that had made her distrustful of others. How as royals too many people wanted to be there “friends” for ulterior motives.
“I would never—”
“You already did, Detective. A lie of omission is still a lie isn’t it? So why are you coming clean now?”
“It’s only fair you know exactly whose involved in this crazy ass marriage arrangement. And I also wanted to let you know that I have no intention of going ahead with it, even though our parents are suddenly deciding to push on it.”
She stared at him and her shoulders notched down a fraction. “Good, because I’m not doing it either. Especially with a man who lies like the proverbial rug. A man I obviously can’t trust.”
